ArrowSpan Announces Compatibility with Sputnik Control Center Service

Santa Clara, Calif., Oct 18, 2007 – ArrowSpan Inc., a global provider of Wi-Fi mesh solutions, today announced its compatibility with Sputnik Control Center™ Pro and Standard, and the Sputnik Gateway™ 700. Sputnik Inc. is a leading provider of software as a service (SaaS) that allows wireless service providers to offer free and paid Wi-Fi services and manage them over the Internet.

The Sputnik Control Center solution provides a secure, web-based interface that lets wireless service providers remotely configure access points, create custom-branded captive portal pages, track usage, enforce network policies, generate reports, and bill for access. A single Sputnik Control Center server can manage one or hundreds of access points.
The Sputnik Gateway 700 runs Sputnik Agent Pro firmware and can authenticate hundreds of concurrent users. It enables multiple authentication methods, walled gardens, network policies, and support for prepaid cards, credit cards or PayPal billing.
