ArrowSpan Introduces MAM7700 Wireless Mobile Mesh Solution for Real-time Voice, Video and Data Applications

Patented Multipoint System Enables Real-time Voice, Video and Data Communications for Complex Mobile Operations

Santa Clara, Calif., Oct 15, 2008 – ArrowSpan Inc., a global provider of switching wireless Wi-Fi mesh solutions, today introduced the MAM7700, a patented wireless mobile mesh system that enables real-time voice, video and data communications over an IP network for public safety officers, construction crews, field inspectors, and other mobile units.

The ArrowSpan MAM7700 solution creates a temporary mesh network for these mobile personnel by utilizing the less crowded 700MHz band. The system’s multi-radio and multi-channel design also eliminates wireless signal interference and traffic conflict problems that often occur with other mesh network products, ensuring reliable communications in areas where traditional wireless networks are not available.

The ruggedized, portable MAM7700 unit can easily be carried by mobile users or transported in a vehicle. Mobile communications on the MAM7700 are secured through wireless advanced 128-bit AES encryption of both backhaul and user traffic. In addition, multilevel administrative password control provides users with the highest level of security for all services and applications.
